Sevenoaks
Sevenoaks (incorporating the 14 villas at Muriwai Court) offers a total of 111 villas which range from one-bedroom, no garaging, through to two bedroom with an internally accessed garage. All are built around beautifully kept, extensive communal gardens, many of which incorporate private, sheltered seating. All residents can access an extensive range of communal facilities including; indoor heated swimming pool, hairdressing salon, dining room and library. The recreational areas incorporate specialist spaces for activities including a petanque piste.
Residents are assured of a secure environment being maintained through regular security checks made throughout the night. Staff are also on site 24 hours a day in the Sevenoaks Lodge. The landscaped grounds include a walkway around the private lake which attracts abundant water fowl. The recent addition of a serenity garden, meandering through grounds adjacent to the villas and apartments adds yet another focus to a delightful environment.
Within the Sevenoaks village is the 42 studio and 1-bedroom apartment complex. Built around two manicured internal courtyards, one of which includes the indoor, heated swimming pool these provide independent living including the provision of a midday hot meal in the dining room.
The continuing care unit at Sevenoaks, known as the Lodge has 60 beds, including a secure dementia wing. It has a long reputation of offering quality care with staffing levels other organisations can only envy. Residents wishing to enter the Lodge must first be accessed through the DHB as requiring this level of care.

Roughly, Sevenoaks is split in two halves with a main entrances into each. The Lodge Drive entrance off Kapiti Road provides access to villas in Lloyd Place and Rotary Place; to the Apartments and to the Lodge – the Trust’s continuing care hospital.
The west access to the village, off Hurley Road, provides access to the recreation centre and to villas in Sevenoaks Court, Marilyn Close, Florence Way and Grantham Court. It is also possible to access the Apartments and the Lodge from this entrance but there is no connecting road through to the villas on the other side of the village.
The villas at Muriwai Court are about 100m further along Kapiti Road from Sevenoaks, on the rise, opposite the turning into Hurley Road.
Facilities
A wide range of facilities are available at both sites and all facilities at both sites are freely available for use by all residents.
